Half a day out with the Pug's

Visited one of our favorite farms this morning and was going to ferret a bank right by the farm buildings but due to it still being overgrown and holding quite a few partridges and pheasants we moved to an exposed bury running alongside a dyke on the far end of the farm, thus keeping the farmer sweet and making for easier ferreting. On arrival it was plain to see that mixy had taken hold and we expected lots of digging but was pleasantly surprised only having to dig twice. We were only out for half a day and really just wanted to show willing so I just zigzaged the longnet along the bury and hoped the dog would run the rabbits in, 14 rabbits later and a pleasant morning out, what more could you ask for........................
