akton 15
I normally dont get dragged into a boxing debate Bartley was a topman, wether or not it was yrs ago doesn't change the facts. Tyson Fury needs good opponents and there is no one, man enough to get in the ring with the big fella. He needs ring time and lots of it,so how does the guy train for the fights if nobody will have a go fact
gnasher16 30,046
Tyson Fury needs good opponents and there is no one, man enough to get in the ring with the big fella. He needs ring time and lots of it,so how does the guy train for the fights if nobody will have a go fact He needs to do what the rest of the boxing population do....learn his trade in the gym with quality sparring....then learn from every fight stepping up in quality as he learns and matures..... Judging from his last fight he,s already slightly out of his depth and needs a hell of a good trainer to bring him on....personally i think he has faults that cannot and will not be corrected which will show him coming up short at top level.....but best of luck to the young chap. No messin 2
Tyson Fury might not be a good fighter, but neither was Bruno and look how far he got.
gnasher16 30,046
Tyson Fury might not be a good fighter, but neither was Bruno and look how far he got. Cant argue with that its a fair point......all id say is Fury has an obvious and clear weakness that anyone who has taken a few digs can quickly recognise.....and being a natural fault as opposed to a technical fault i think it will be hard to get him out of.....and the higher level he fights at the more it will be exposed. Whereas frank obviously had faults......but different faults that didnt stop him making the best of what he had.

I would never disrespect any man as i know the dedication and commitment it takes fighting at any level......but comparing gypsy bareknuckle fighters to top level pro boxers is both silly and meaningless.......tyson furys heritage is of no relevance to his boxing career....you either choose boxing or knuckles....he chose boxing and so must be judged as a boxer.... Irish Lurcher 1,013
Respect to both lads for stepping into the ring, but what a joke, that lad fury is a big man with no boxing skills at all. But if ya dont chance an arm you wont break a leg, best of luck to him, he will need it.

david2363 42
Tyson Fury might not be a good fighter, but neither was Bruno and look how far he got. Respect to Any man who steps inside the square ring at any level. But Bruno if nothing else was fit as a butchers dog , in great condition. What iv seen of Tyson he needs to take his conditioning more seriously. Bruno was limited, but he took the game seriously, and he had a dig on him (and a very destructive jab) If you can imagine big Frank and "Tyson" Fury in a match, Bruno knocks him out every time in the first round. "Tyson" Fury is not a good fighter.

6868 0
I dont reckon any amount of quality sparring, training etc will take fury to the top he should feck off and join the circus or something. why not go to the U.S then instead of sitting here bitching no one wants to fight him or spar with him?its as simple as that.. and well said busterdog the sites full of it.
