ssssh1forthepot 0
I worked for Bill Waddington for a while a true gentelman R.I.P BILL .atb He was a lovely bloke , i met fred Dibnah a few yrs ago at a steam thing , he was very normal , i dont know any one who has a bad word to say about him, in fact if teachers were like him maybe the kids would be interested in there school work rather than being shouted at Fred Dibnah was a lengend! I loved that guy he was so enthusiastic and a little bit mental! he used to blow those chimneys up and run out of the way and a few times were very close, always smoking in his younger days aswel whatever he was doing 100ft up a chimney or running from one he'd just blown up always smoking! He was a straight talker and very passionate about the things he did!

It was the fact that the fame he got through the origonal series didint seem to alter him into a prima donna , if you noticed in the early series he did he was very uncomfortable & looked quite awkward , but the last series he did he seemed like he was born to do that kind of thing, more at ease in front of the camera
