BLUCHER 1
We hear a lot on here about the ultimate lurcher you know the good all rounder, but does anyone have a dog that can take all three as in the title. Yesterday while walking the stubble my 18 month old lurcher put up a pigeon she managed to take it while it was in flight about 6 feet of the ground, needless to say i was well chuffed. Anyway i was telling my mate about it and he told me his collie grey while being looked after by his mother had gone into the garden pond caught and retreived a 5lb koi live to her hand, obviously she wasnt best pleased. Set me thinking though all this talk about the ultimate lurcher, does anyone own one that can do all three. Quote Link to post

Bosun11 537
Who would actually try to get their lurcher to fish... Though I did have a terrier, years back, that would qualify, a good dog to ground he was leggy (and keen) enough to take the odd phesant and would always dive head first into my old mans Koi pond and kill a few of his much loved fish :realmad: Quote Link to post
bradaz2009 9
sounds like a good old fashioned pot filler oright for mooching i suppose Quote Link to post
bucky 11
yep had a collie x grey that could take salmon off the dam, there was a nice hole the fish would lie in at the left hand side of the dam they would lie in there take a breather then go for it, because it was at the side you could see the whole fish spraying up and so could the dog, good memories. she got pts last year at the grand old age of 16.
