a Proper dog

Badger-You know what it takes to make a proper bull x. You bred the best dog (Grace) I have ever owned, and her offspring are showing the same kind of brains and abilities she had. The three pups I kept off her (3/4 Stag 1/4 Bull) all waded right in on the very first coyote they ever seen. They dont think much of badger either...LOL

ratkilla-The 1/2 cross I had from "Badger" caught everything from hares to bears...literally...LOL but was missing a gear to be considered a top coyote/hare dog. I bred her back to a stag before she died, and the pups are just now 8mo old. I believe they will have the speed to catch alot of coyotes in my terrain, but will still not run with the fastest of the pure stags, IMO. Those that know me will tell you that I will happily trade some speed for fight, as I would rather be outrun than out fought. My plan is to always keep between 1/4 and 1/8 Bull in my stags. The crosses are more durable and more level headed than most pure stags, IMO.

Take care.

is there any problems over there with anti hunters ? or dog thieves

Hey there lurcherlad,

This is still the wild west. Anti's and dog thieves tend to disappear here in the Indian Territories (What the f**k do you think we catch the hogs for? ;) )

that just tops it off, your the luckiest man on the website

One more thing Badger, about how tall was the big yella dog and approx weight?

the yellow dog's name was Saker(rip). He was well over 30" at the shoulder. I weigh 300 pounds, the bulldog gyp weighed low fifties in that picture, so we can both guess his weight, I never weighed him.
