Get well soon Col

Sadly my best mate and shooting/ferreting and fishing partner Col suffered a stroke on Monday night/early hours of sunday morning.

He has lost all feelings and is paralysed in the right hand side of his body.

I went to visit him last night in hospital and it appears he is doing well and his spirits are still high despite being poorly.

I am keeping him updated on what is going on in the forums and he is still talking about going out ferreting once he gets better.

I am sure you will all like to pass on your best wishes to Col and I may even print off a few pages from the forum as a bit of reading material for him in the hospital where he will be for at least the next 4 weeks.

GET well soon Col mate, Team wallace and gromit can't work without you ;)

i don't know either of you personally but have had a couple of family members suffer strokes of veried strengths,, i wish you all the best in your recovery and i'm pleased to hear your showing good signs, keep it up and hold your head up high,, i always say the hardest part is coping with the bordom of bloody hospitals but it wont be long mate til your out on the feild!!

printing off some stuff from the forum is a good idea, also do the earth dog running dog mag and the countrymans weekly will help, any books by brian plumber etc that you haven't read for a while,,,, think of it this way : by the time your out of hospital you'll have so much knowledge stored away you'll be showing the rest of us up!!

if you need dogs or ferrets to be looked after until your out of hospital let me know,, plenty people on here can give you reference etc

wishing you all the best, and hope for a speedy recovery Annemarie xxx
