lightforce lamp

Recommended Posts

Two people needed for fixing to the roof, drill from the outside with small bit through into cab. then cut whole out to correct size with metal whole cutter make sure to use a centre guide with it. drop lamp through with seals etc in correct position. When i did mine i also used a bit clear silicone for an extra seal. person on inside with screwdriver with long socket put the nuts through head lining onto bolts dropped through, person on the outside tightens. tight oppisite corners to pull the seals down flush to roof of motor. when putting the star shaped fixing plate on the inside you can adjust this to the required tension so its easy to move the lamp handle but i found best to do it tight enough so that the lamp stays in place when you leave go. good for when shooting on your own.

I used the 170mm long handle kit as found the 220mm long handle that little bit to long with having the middle seat in. (bumping head)

Regarding the wiring i run the cable through the inside of the head lining (coat hanger job) then down the door post lining, dropping out the bottom then wired directly to battery using an in-line fuse. (10 amp if i remember without looking)

Hope this helps
