FOXHUNTER, i dont think that will be just yet, the intermediate sounds more my kind of thing. also, i will be getting a rifle for deer first. and thanks all for the replies Quote Link to post

Thanks for the advice. i found john to be an informative and friendly man. he is an excellent tutor and i passed. The BASC were speedy getting me my documents, i had it through the post 2weeks later. just in time for the FEO to visit thankfully. the next stop is now the gun shop for a suitable deer rifle. i have been approved for .243. Does any one have any reccomendations? i would prefer a detachable box magazine for ease of unloading. i think i will probably have about £1200 for the full set up. cheers UG Quote Link to post
