Just got home cleaned dogs up and now cracked open a can of beer :D Ah lovely!!!

Had a real shite night at work but wasn't worried cos I'd aranged cover so I could get away early to follow hounds.

No pest control to be had there, they boxed up early so I went home fed up :cray:

Took dogs out, stopped by an old favourite hole 500 yrds from back door which when dry has been good over the years. In a ditch which runs water half the winter.

Today was bone dry and all four holes were half full of hedgecutter carnage. Plummer had a sniff and walked away, pup now nine months shot to ground. Wasn't worried about his age cos he really needed one if you know what I mean. Phoned me old chap up who promptly fetched me my favourite tool. Left pup to it, had no nets so didn't block the holes. Charlie poked it's head out one, saw me and shot back in. Gave it a little while longer and got a mark, no noise from pup only grunting (call him a pup but he's very forward) Cut to pieces from blackthorn and bramble but two spits down and I was through :clapper: Pup had hold of a very dead fox. Young fat vixen who will not be eating my poults :D

Nice dog, even better work.

Envious.......very envious.
