I have never dug to a plummer never seen one dug to either

Sorry you've been tarred with the same brush mate

It's me not DC that has worked plummers but don't now. I still have one, more a pet now, still very good at retrieving shot game though. Horses for courses.

:o cracking looking dog that. he has done well for ya. . i hope he goes on to make a real good dog for ya.

if he was mine he wouldnt be getting used till after christmas and then i would be carefull . is it only me that thinks he is a little young. anyway good luck in the future with him i look forward to following his progress

If they arent shown a bit at that age they go off the head mate ,Best give them some easy ones now then hold them awhile.Different lines different ways .Must be the KC blood in them ;)

one mans meat. :D good luck with the youngsters :clapper:

Yes totally agree but as I said "he was needing something".

Shall hold him back for several months now.

Now he knows his purpose in life he'll be more settled.

:) good luck mate. i'm sure he'll do ya proud :)

Fair play Stevie honourable reason for neutering. Donny, of all the breeds youve worked whats your fave 1.2.3. and why?

................................................................................

......................................................................My favourite would be the leggy smooth russells then the borders as I do have a soft spot for them I like the temperament of them Although coloured ones from the right line are on par ..To me they should have the same workstyle.Very hard with the whites finding good outcrosses.A good few decent borders local keeps the borders going without getting too close .Coloureds are, as said from the right lines do well here.Doing hunt work makes it harder its knowing the right dog for the right result in the right place

Well done mate and well done young un,we just can't find to ground at the moment been very warm this week but seems to be cooling a bit now so fingers crossed for a hit soon.

you said only the other day u thought him ready but what was up with the plummer did he have a look in the end

Yes mate he realised his mistake as soon as pup flew in. Was straining to get in after.

HAHA FECKIN CLASSIC HEARD IT ALL NOW LOL LOL

Yes he certainly won't make the grade!!!

Last one wasn't bad but glad I switched to proper earth dogs.

Unfortunately they all dont make the grade. All we can do is breed from the best and hope for the best.Last season i entered a well bred cracking looking chocolate patterdale. He had 3 good digs and just jacked then one day. He is no longer with me. Fortunately i have 2 sisters of this dog that did make the grade.Hope to keep them busy this season. atb with the young pup.hope he makes it.
