The classic signs of heat stroke are a very '' flat'' ferret , laying about & panting like a dog does , dont assume if the cage is in the shade that they cant be over come by heat stroke , they go down fairly rapidly but its essential that if you do find your ferrets showing the signs you act quickly , they need cooling down A plant sprayer is good to start to cool them down , they do pick up fairly quickly after being cooled down & offered water Quote Link to post
