ianltz 5 Posted September 8, 2009 Report Share Posted September 8, 2009 me and a mate out at the weekend, pigeon shooting over some stubbles, been there for about an hour or so, had a few woodies but nothing fantastic, seemed to be a lot of gliders flying around above us, we were in a small woods at the top end of the field, all of a sudden 20 yds or so above the trees a glider appeared over our heads, and landed in the field, so drove down to find out what was goin on, apparently there wasnt enough wind for them to stay up and they had to land it,so rang the farmer for them, made sure he was ok with a trailer comin to fetch the glider, went back to our woods just settled back in again, when another glider circled above us then came down over the trees tthe same way the first had, heres some pics. the first one that landedthe second coming down to land the first one in the field, decoys in foreground, so what a strange day the biggest decoys ever lol, Quote Link to post
