my 12 week ferret eats a can of cat food a day and i feed him rabbits and pigeons when ever i get them use to feed him dry food when i first got him

 

A can a day you're ferret must be huge I have 4 ferrets at about 8-9 weeks there on a tin a day and abit of dry takes them a while to eat that lol

You did it right the first time, ferrets need ferret food mate,not cat food.

I feed mine variety of foods all mixed together, if one goes of the market or

I cant get hold of one the ferrets dont get fussy & it gives em a variety so its not boring for em.

 

I get all mine online.

Mine are on cat food at the moment because there are no rabbits here for them lol. They get the odd pigeon or crow. The ferret food here costs a bomb

I use JWB complete ferret always available at night and then turkey mince during the day !!

I used to feed them on Vitalin until the hiked the price up.

Anyone feeding dog food to a ferret has got it way wrong.

Iv fed them dry dog food once because I didnt have any other food for them and there still ok lol
