blackfox 9
Hello, im getting a new lamping and battery combo, i was thinking a Lightforce Blitz Sl240 VP and a Deben lithium battery pack. Any thoughts on this? anyone know what kind of lamping time i will get out of this? Its to be used for all quarry and include lamping from a truck. Ive only got a Mole Valley Farmers lamp so this is gonna be a big leap so i dont mind putting some sensible money in. Any helpful comments would be grrrrrreat! Thanks Sam p.s using it with my 700 sps varmint in .204 ruger and my CZ .17 hmr. Edited September 6, 2009 by blackfox Quote Link to post
blackfox 9
I couldnt wait for a reply so ive bought the above combo, and got a free filter with the lamp. Hopefully it will be worth it!! Quote Link to post
jamie g 17
good lamp but big. 170 is better i think. but the 240 can come in handy when you really want to spot stuff at distance Quote Link to post
activeviii 8
I love my 240. it is bright and goes a long way without the filter but as soon as you put a red filter on it you will find you dont get as far with it. i have a deben max as well but since buying the 240 i havent used the max.. im using a 17Ah battery on a back pack for it so would love to know how you get on with the light weight set.
