Queary regarding Prices

Recommended Posts

Hey guy's as some of you may know a friend of mine died suddenly in July

He leaves a wife and 3 boys behind and quite an armoury (he was a bit of a gun-aholic :notworthy: )

I need to get a rough figure for the following items and as these are not for sale yet, I dont want to put it in the for sale section yet.

Air Arms S400 Classic - Hawke Airmax 3-9x40 AO MAP6 reticle (I dont know if there is charging equipment yet)

SMK QB78 DL - JSR 4x40 Mildot ill.

El Gamo ASI sniper,

BSA Airsporter MkVI.

Sheridan EB22, (pistol)

Gamo Compact (pistol)

Gamo Falcon, (target pistol)

I am looking to get a decent price for them as the money will be going directly to his widow.

Hope you guy's can help

Hi Phantom,

Sorry to see your friend is no longer with us, he had a nice collection there, looking at most of them they are modern and easy to price, the one that sticks out is the El Gamo ASI Sniper, they have become very sort after with collectors & shooters alike & in good condition should fetch £85 to £100. I hope these items make a good price for the mother & her children. Maybe the members on THL will dig deep in their pockets to buy one of these items knowing the money will go to a well deserved mother & children.

Thanks Foxon,

I'm still awaiting Wendy to bring all the stuff up for me to make a complete inventory, take pix and put all relevent parts with the appropriate guns.

I'm sure there is bound to be a lot more than what I've listed.

Interesting you say that about the Sniper, I have one myself and recently tried to sell it at £40, with no interest.

Perhaps I should put them in a collectors area? Thanks for the tip :)

They are a nice little rifle and using Geco's I get 30 shots in the tubular mag :)

My sniper is .177 and is running somewhere near the 6ft/lbs (I understand this is what they were designed to do?) and I have been told they are great for indoor work such as barns with fragile roofs and pigeon infestations and rats. I shot my 1st live quarry with it in my shed (a mouse that I shot through the neck) from about 30 feet :)

They are great fun, they will run upto 10 ftlbs but that is asking a lot from them, in a publication like the Gun Mart or on THL all the items should do well, with the weak pound & the strong Euro new weapons from overseas are at an all time high with increases up 30%, this is makeing the secondhand market very desireable, so you should get some good offers.

Come on people,

Surely someone here could give me an Idea of prices?

Foxon has been good enough to suggest a figure for the Sniper B)

I now know that the S400 is in .177 and comes with a hard case and has a Stirrup Pump, if thats any help?

my friend is just saving up to buy his first pcp.

Just going on what Davy has said, i'll probably take it for that price range?

Is it 177 or 22 - When you get the pics up let me know and i'd be happy to get my friend to buy that if it's in good condition, so count me for that one.

Sorry to hear about your friend.
