Guest Scuba1
We used empty Magners cans on the meet and I must say that the target production was a lot more fun then raking up broken clays out of a field  ATB Michael Quote Link to post
Phantom 631
Trebor extra strong mints make good reactive targets, they vanish in a puff of white dust, and they are less than 50p a pack where as the chalk 1inch targets cost a lot more! Guest buster321c
I cut a potatoe into small squares , of about 10-15 mm and chuck em on the lawn . Then take me time and pop em one by one , cause they`ve been thrown , there all over the place and no two shots are the same Quote Link to post
Phantom 631
Thats a great idea Buster, Problem round here is the gulls and blackbirds would have em before I got a shot off Phantom Quote Link to post

Guest Scuba1
Rabbits and magpies are not bad either and magpies are also biodegradable :good: Quote Link to post
gazguildford 0
extra strong mints really cheap and create a small dust cloud when hit scatter them about plus they are a really good size i think Quote Link to post

Guest Scuba1
And for the ones using either a .177 springer or a HW 100 we have the ultimate plinking target if set up at about 25 yards. As seen on a target range in Wiltshire. ATB Yes I can find my way out and I left the coat on anyway. Michael Edited September 6, 2009 by Scuba1 Quote Link to post

I suppose with a springer you would have to aim well ahead of them and let them run into the sot. Not an easy thing to judge, but does make it more interesting I think. Quote Link to post
