Ive been on this site for a while and i think the only approach is someone who will come in and ruthlessly remove the crap , and not stand any messin .

I think THL members should be able to vote on moderators for each section, Starting on a collection of respected members and let the forums vote.

Dont think each section needs a new mod , the airgun section is back on track , after going off the rails a bit , and is currently being run very efficiently . There could be a bit of room for `floating mods ` who will just keep a general eye open and cut the bickering . Just close a thread if its going sour , and dish out a warn , personally im all for the 3 strikes and your out . And as i think Stubby stated else where , one user name , and if you have 2 your up to no good , so smack bum time .

Long standing members on sites , like these for instance , seem to think they have all the say and knowledge .Personally ive found this not so . There are quite a few members on here that have posted very little in comparision , but their posts have been very detailed , direct , and helpful to many . Im not saying dont look at the regulars , just everyones a member , so everyone`s entitled to be listened to .

coz im bisexual,some days im john some days im jenny.today im john,so i dont find arse licking posts very good,tomoro im jenny and i will say ooooh make kay a mod she has some ferrets and some rescue curs,ffs get a life let the people who run the site worry about the mods .

i agree let the people who run the site worry about the mods,or is this another way of finding out who can blow the most smoke up someone elses arse

its not that the site needs more or more ruthless moderators!

 

if more people used the report button far less crap would filter through onto the pages of the forum!

 

i wouldnt want to do their job! even though im sure the mod team split the site between them it still means getting in from work or what ever and having to go through umpty um pages of the site reading each and every post in their section, and that could be thousands of words, then deciding if a topic or post needs to be removed and if they do have to offer a reason dealing with the flack afterwards!

 

if all the members of the site act as mods by using the report button the "problem" goes away!

thats what it seems like to me,total bum lickery...tbh who gives a feckin monkeys who is a mod or not,the morons allready been banned once,then the best he can do is ponder as to why my gender has not been set.
