arcticgun 4,548
Been out again tonight with Mickstaff and Pointer from this site. We ventured out onto Pointers permission despite the moon and cloudless sky however we did get a bit of wind in our favour Both my bitch and Mickstaffs bitch are only pups in their first season, luckily though Pointers bitch is a seasoned veteran. We had some good runs missed a few to begin with, but the action soon picked up, and the dogs started catching. Pointers bitch again performed well, as did both pups, its great watching them learn, both pups are coming on well, working them with an expirienced dog is really paying off. All in all another great nights sport, thanks again Pointer atb Richard Edited September 6, 2009 by arcticgun Quote Link to post

pointer 543
some of its not the easiest of ground to lamp on with all the ditches and hilly reed covered ground(perfect for daytime though) and a full moon only makes it harder but it was still a good night. great to see young dogs learning the trade and getting a few runs. the better nights will come Quote Link to post
