Spangle 0
If it's true then that is some feckin' shot, fair play to him! Quote Link to post
Deker 3,478
V Bulls down the range at 1000 yards are reasonably common, but a rabbit in the field at 1000 yards is a VERY different thing..... Quote Link to post

If he is that good why not "1010 yds, 2 ft, 10 inches"? When we're talking about seriously long range shooting I distrust figures that are too precise. !000 yds on a range no problem, the distance can be checked to within a fraction of a per-cent but in the field, even with a top-class laser rangefinder, claiming accuracy to the nearest yard over 1000 yds exceeds the accuracy of the measuring tool. Bloody good shooting though! Ric Quote Link to post

Jaggsy 25
A near impossible shot given the compensating factors even in near perfect conditions, but hey ho i said 'near' impossible Quote Link to post
langouroux 14
i know a guy who is a bit of a ballistics freak, and regulary shoots rabbits and fox at over 800 yards. he travels all round the country to meet up with other long range nutters! one of my mates took his mrs out with him about 4 weeks ago, the first shot he "dialled" in for her was a rabbit at 525 yards! with an old parker hale .308, he does all his own re-loading etc, and is one scary dude! hahaha good guy to have around if there was ever a zombie invasion!
