manchester girl 0
We only bought this collar a couple of weeks ago and are very careful to turn it off when we get home. It is pernickety about being turned on and the last couple of days even putting a new battery in doesn't help. Today though with the OH away and really needing it to work didn't matter what I tried: taking battery out to make sure no dampness, rubbing all contacts, it simply wouldn't work. We only went to the expense of buying this as young terrier is so small and busy she'd try to go down a mousehole I reckon! She is quite prepared to lick your searching hand before backing down the hole to carry on..she is v effective but you can suffer starvation waiting for her to reappear. Any advice to get the wretched thing to work would be much appreciated. Quote Link to post
