Squirrel_Basher 17,100
Had a look out with the .222 at a local farm where theyve had a bit of trouble with foxes amongst ducks . . The farmer lets a couple of local lads do a bit with a shot gun and they lamp it most nights . Foxdropper ........Good shooting What hardware are you using ?........i see your not tempted to put a mod on your rifle or is one pending I know it can be frustrating having a permission overlamped .........One of mine is subject to the so called dog walking brigade with a lightforce and all the diffusers ..........Unlike the above situation these have no right to be on this land and as a result i now shoot on it at the crack of Dawn . Mate-Its a .222 ,brno CZ.The moderator thing has, until recently never been an issue but with todays climate and attitude to shooting ,the variation may be a must . Quote Link to post
dead ive 0
Although not reccommended if you was to stand way to the side and in front of a moderated fullbore they are still very loud Foxdropper and there is a possibility that any dogs barking or lights being switched on as a result of pulling the trigger could still occur .Basically your protecting your own hearing but with a T8 on the end that .222 of yours will be similar to firing to PCP air rifle Quote Link to post
FOXHUNTER 5,021
I would definitely consider getting a moderator for your .222 foxdropper , it was the best move I ever made buying my T8. I dont think I could ever go back to a rifle without one , my hearing is already shot after having centrefires shot from my shoulder for years the daft things you do when you're younger!!! Whilst stalking you can often get a second shot Quote Link to post
Squirrel_Basher 17,100
Definately worth a consideration. Quote Link to post
