Guest buster321c
veiws on a compulsory D.N.A testing program Its just a no mate , i think its out wrong that every move we ever make is kept on file . Even down to your sat nav , you register it , so therefore you can be traced using it . Every page on the web you`ve viewed is kept on file , every call and txt . This country has more cctv than ANY other . And when the big fella in the sky calls time for you , then your details are filed away under deceased .
Guest buster321c
DNA DATABASE The Prime Minister has suggested that the DNA of every British adult should be stored by the state. The national database already holds 3.7 million samples, 6 per cent of the population, far higher than any other country. More than one million have been taken from people never convicted of an offence. CCTV The British are among the world's most observed people. Some 4.2 million closed-circuit television cameras record our every move - one for every 14 people and more per head than any other country in Europe or North America. The average Londoner can be caught on camera 300 times a day. MEDICAL RECORDS Millions of medical records are to be transferred to a central NHS database, allowing staff anywhere to access patients' information. People who object will not be able to opt out. The most personal information will be available to hospital managers, IT departments, high street pharmacists and civil servants. IDENTITY CARDS The first identity cards will be issued next year to foreign nationals and from 2009 to UK citizens. Anyone who renews a passport will be forced to register and the Government aims to make ID cards compulsory within six years. Fifty-two pieces of information, including fingerprints and iris scans, will be held. SPY IN THE SKY Motorists are already monitored through the soaring number of road cameras. In an effort to cut congestion, the Department of Transport is examining plans to use satellite technology to keep tabs on every vehicle's exact movements. Motorists, forced to have a black box fitted in their cars, would be billedfor every journey they make. SportingShooter 0
They have mine for various reasons too I do not agree with many, many aspects of the "big brother" scenario. I hate the idea of I.D. cards, Surveillance of vehicles and people and of personal medical records and other data being shared with whoever wants it. But with DNA I agree with the idea. DNA is useless unless it can be matched with that of a sample taken elsewhere. If everyone's DNA was on record, 85% of the data would never need to be accessed or used as it just wouldn't match with anything. I believe that if DNA can be used to convict someone of a crime, it can be used to clear them of any involvement as well which means fewer miscarriages of justice. Just my thoughts. COMPO 54
I dont know, it would solve some crimes a lot quicker and would help with old cases but due to information out there in the general media and someone already mentioned the crime channels on tv...........a lot of serious criminals are already forensically aware............like that gang of lads who raped that girl with special needs, they removed their DNA with acid........they poored acid into her and over her to burn of the evidence.....it scarred her for life but that was a side effect! she was aware enough of some of them to identify and give evidence, but only a few of the group were ever caught.....others were never traced Lots of rapists are already using condoms , burglars wear gloves and others are also forensically aware it might help with old crimes and re-investigating some old cases.............but i doubt it would help from now onwards! When the good guys get a new toy the bad guys learn how to work it!

Lets go the whole hog and all get implanted with a microchip. There are ways to tackle crime, and this aint one.

There are ways to tackle crime, and this aint one. the good guys aren't the gang raping a mentally impaired teenage girl, they are the ones trying to identify and locate them, arrest them and take them to court. As i said I feel its pretty pointless as the major criminals are very forensically aware thanks to tv programmes etc.....
