Can any of the terrier lads on here tell me how much oil you mix with the petrol to get the right consistency of smoke, Ive just knocked up a smoker from an old petrol strimmer and dont know what the mix should be, any advise lads please, DAVE.

we use an old still saw and we put a cany bit oil in to get plenty ov smoke out

Leave the CHOKE ON and dont rev that will produce more smoke and less noise'Just add a little bit at a time until perfect!

Mate this your on about! we tried loads of different ways and found out the best thing to bolt rats ent the smoke so much its the noise!!! we got an old still and pops an bangs like a good un it bolts rats in some order! we have tried real thick smoke and different mixes but the best is making a smoker that is very noisy!!

try around a 30/1 mix

Just a tad more than normal. Think it's the vibration as much as anything.

2 stroke oil has a low smoke content, to get past emissions laws, I have strimmers that have crankseals leaking and the engine oil from the gearbox leaks into the bore, so try a little engine oil in with the 2 stroke oil and it will smoke like a goodun
