ginger dave 63 Posted September 4, 2009 Report Share Posted September 4, 2009 Can any of the terrier lads on here tell me how much oil you mix with the petrol to get the right consistency of smoke, Ive just knocked up a smoker from an old petrol strimmer and dont know what the mix should be, any advise lads please, DAVE. MAIN MAN 277 Posted September 4, 2009 Report Share Posted September 4, 2009 Mate this your on about! we tried loads of different ways and found out the best thing to bolt rats ent the smoke so much its the noise!!! we got an old still and pops an bangs like a good un it bolts rats in some order! we have tried real thick smoke and different mixes but the best is making a smoker that is very noisy!! try it and let me no witch is better cheers ??? RatSnatcher 0 Posted September 5, 2009 Report Share Posted September 5, 2009 2 stroke oil has a low smoke content, to get past emissions laws, I have strimmers that have crankseals leaking and the engine oil from the gearbox leaks into the bore, so try a little engine oil in with the 2 stroke oil and it will smoke like a goodun Quote Link to post
