rosspti 2
I just want to say a big thank you to Stubby & IanB for sorting out the Cornish National Flag in the Control Panel. There's not many Cornish boys on here, but for those few of us that are.... you can now use our flag if you wish to. For me, I always wanted to use it and so I put one in instead of an Avatar. But now, thanks to the Mods, I can use the flag of St Piran. I know we can use the Union Flag for the UK, but it's nice to have our individual Nations represented. BLURB IF YOU'RE INTERESTED WHO ARE THE CORNISH? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cornish_people INFO ON ST PIRAN'S FLAG! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint_Piran's_Flag CORNWALL ON THE SIMPSONS!! http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/cornwall/3866927.stm THE GOOD STUFF: Cornwall is covered by 8 registered packs of fox hounds: North Cornwall, East Cornwall, Cury, Four Burrow, Lamerton, Tetcott, South Tetcott and The Western. And also by the Devon & Cornwall Minkhouds. A few majorly good shoots down here too, and lots of nice friendly smaller driven and rough shoots. Full of woodcock and snipe in winter, just like West Wales. Wildfowl on the Estuaries, etc. Wood Pigeons - good in places. Lots of sea fishing, angling, coarse, game, etc. Some fantastic ferreting and longnetting to be had. Plenty of rabbits in the right places. Quite a few deer. Unfortunately not many hares or grey partridge down here as big arable areas are few and far between. You may have seen Chris Green, the Cornish Countryman, who tours the country doing displays at Game Fairs and stuff. He's a legend! Thanks again Gentlemen Rosspti Quote Link to post
