sand

Hi all,

 

just a quick question about sand , i had ferrets out the other night and were having building work done at the moment, well the ferrets went stright into the sand and started to dig and play. Will it hurt them as its building sand? and could i put some in there court?

I cant see it being a problem myself , you come across sandy soil when out so i wouldnt think so

i was just unsure of if they put anything in building sand that may effect them

why not buy a couple of bags of play pit sand if your worried

i would say clear. building sand can have all sorts in it. get a nice bag of play sand and make a sand pit for um

i'm fairly new to ferrets but i would say that the problem with sand would be that the ferrets would probably use it as a toilet? maybe wrong but it's worth a try nothing to loose!

mines play in the booys sand pit but have to watch for them shitting
