I think you've mixed me up with a friend of mine but yes it is faster then the old 1's but some of the newer older 1's was faster any way.I not knocking any other terrier locating system at all. all i know is it works for me and alot of other lads i know who use them. The new collar was tested all last season at least 5days aweek and never once had any hick ups and there was improvement's made on the 1 what was tested. So if you like what you see try it if not leave it simple as. ;)

THATS WHY I ASKED YOUR FRIEND ,a profesional using it 6 days a week never let him down once , charged it up only a couple of times in that period , the only time he had a prob, was his own fault not chaging it , and in his words when i reverted to the old collar it looked f*****g big, it is a lot of money but arnt are terriers worth it ;)

will the barryvox pulse still work with this collar lads

i believe the new collar will work with the ortovox system, although i haven't seen the new collar i think they have redesigned it to be slimmer and replaced the batteries with a rechargeable type, anyone tried it yet?

If this means no more screws to tighten breaking the casing this must be an improvement!!!

stevieman,i don't know what improvements have taken place as i don't have the bellman or ortovox system,i'm still using the deben kit(old habits dying very hard here)i'm all in favour

of new technology though as long as it's affordable, and any kit is worth paying for if it gets your terrier out in time, atb,

higgins.

All looks well and good and I think it's great that some good ol' British bloke is doing his bit for Terrier work, but ................................................................................

.................................................................................

.................................................................................

.........................................

there are cheaper alternatives out there that work just as well.

Good luck to Jeremy Bellman or whatever his name is, think I'll stick to what I've already got, might buy a new fukwitt motor to go on the shovel though :whistling:

Oh and I would imagine that the new B&F collar would work with all the other Avalanche systems, they're all on the same frequency.
