kev1986 0 Posted September 2, 2009 Report Share Posted September 2, 2009 hi all i have just came accros this forum i currently have a few ferrets 2 of them as the missis pets and one i have to work along side my hawk which is comming next year at the moment my ferret is only 9 weeks old so cant be worked yet so i am doing a bit of snaring but am having some trouble after using the snares a few times as they start to twist and also finding the best stakes i have a lot of rabbits in my area but i am not very consistant at catching them and prob have a catch rate of 2 out of 15 snares any help would be appreciated thanks kev Quote Link to post Share on other sites

kev1986 0 Posted September 2, 2009 Author Report Share Posted September 2, 2009 these are the two hob brothers they follow on like lil dogs dnt think i goin to work them and i have there sister as well but no pics of her the poor lil guys are booked in for the snip in 8 week time . the mother was a white but with normal eyes and the father was polecat so far they all doin good and only one latch on to my missis but they only young so it dnt hurt yet lol,do any of you work hobs and do any of you prefer them to jils its just my jill seems a lot more active and wants to work rather then the 2 hobs which seem lazy Quote Link to post Share on other sites

kev1986 0 Posted September 3, 2009 Author Report Share Posted September 3, 2009 its going to cost me approx 60 for the pair of them but have just found out that if you recieve housing benefit or something like that the pdsa do it for £10 each bargin but these 2 are house pets and are spoilt by the missis , i dnt think i am goin to bother with my female tho as she will be seperate anyway and have herd that it can make them fat and lazy due to lack of hormone release etc Quote Link to post Share on other sites
