My being cheap I found that this is best for price and quality: Only $58, and worldwide shipping. It is especially good seeing as the same product, under UK sales is: £87!!!!

Although, also cheap, I'm looking into getting this as a general purpose type knife: Frosts Mora 2000.

Good luck to him, and suggest that he ought to go wild camping :)

Bloody hell! A survival Knife!!

I remember when Rambo came out and we all wanted one.

My problem was, at the time, lack of funds, and so i had to make do with a second hand cheap copy of a cheap copy!! :D

Christ, the fish hooks in the handle were huge and the line about 30LB!! The two rings on the handle were threaded ontot he wire and we had a saw that could, allegedly, cut down trees!! Of course, in the real world such a cheap tool was about as much use as a chocolate fireguard! the compass was total crap and the serated "saw" on the upper side of the blade was so thick it was no use for anything.....Still, we didnt care, we had our water-proof matches and , like all young firebugs back then, we used them as often as possible!! :D Fire, used to fascinate us, and its fair to say those matches never quite lasted long enough to be used in a "survival" situation!!!! :icon_redface:

But still, happy days!! the knife would have probably been better used as a club rather than a knife!!!!...JD
