Cheers luke, this pup has thrown the most side profile of the bull terrier, the others have took more saluki side with a good jaw/width of muzzle, ill get pics up of em soon, none have seem to have a bull body but i wasnt expecting that anyway as the dams not a bully type and the sires quite a racey leggy dog anyway nothing explains better than a picture so ill get some up soon atb kate Quote Link to post

stormrider8 59
did see one at a working dog show down the new forest.sorry no pics but he was a nice looking dog.and the guy said he was over the moon with him. why aren't they that popular then ??? its because they are one of the most useless dogs ever created, bred only to be a showdog never a working dog, they are prone to cancers, are often deaf or directionly deaf, suffer with ear problems, lack breathing ability and have very poor eyesight,so yes they will create the ultimate strong lurcherNOT,im not being a no it all ive had bull terriers for many years now yes that is there name not english bull terriers, and they will work with terriers always seem obsessed with holes for some reason,i love these dogs with a passion but as pet guard dogs but i dont think much to using them in lurcher breeding Not sure i agree with you there mate. You must keep some very poor examples of the breed. Iv seen a few work, but s pep on this site has an exceptional one, i think he is 6 or 7 and has more than proven hiself. Quote Link to post

spep21 0
no offence mate but you probably own fat useless show bred shite, there are good ebt about and they, like all bull-terriers make crap guard dogs no own a very light racey bitch 32lbs fit in her day shes 11 or 12 now, have you had them for long?or are you new to the dog world, ask some sporting men there opinions and watch them giggle, I am and know sporting men and I won't giggle if you ask my opinion. I have never seen the EBTx but have heard good things from someone who has used them but I have a working EBT and it is the real deal I promise you. Quote Link to post

Iv seen a few work, but s pep on this site has an exceptional one, i think he is 6 or 7 and has more than proven hiself. i dont keep them i have an elderly pet,and maybe im wrong, but then im new to dogs never had a good one yet keep trying though one day il be a super keyboard hunter, when you say work do you mean work as in WORK,or do you mean a 60 to 90lb bull terrier on a 12lb fox etc, thats baiting to me and beneath a game dog,and pitdogs of any type dont really have a place on a hunting forum do they?? Would you say the same about Bull x Lurchers Funbob, or any big heavyweight running dog cross?? "Pitdog", would that count for all bull terrier types in the field, working...? How long have you been on this site, how much time have you taken to read posts, read about hunting in its many forms? You stick with your elderly pet and never venture into the 'world' of working dogs again, you've never owned a good'un, maybe thats because you wouldn't give it any opportunity to hunt, are you opposed to hunting Funbob? Just for the record, i've worked a bull terrier in the field but don't fecking dare call me a baiter!! Thats a word usually associated with people who are trying to destroy the hunting world??? I'm a hunter and damn proud of it, my Bull terrier was used because there was a job to do and he was capable of doing it, everything was killed as quickly and humainly as possible, certainly as quck as any dog could, if not quicker than most, thats the benifit of a bull terrier in the field, no different than any large breed that pre-ban was used to take fox. Funbob...... Fun Sponge more like...! Quote Link to post
