waidmann 105
restart with recall training mate. beagle being bred as wide hunting dogs its the nature of the beast. get a long rope/lead and a pocket full of treats.( aren't they normally greedy?) i don't think it will be easy with a three year old dog but possible. persevere. if you have an experianced dog man near you,ask for some help( you never know). try to keep it positive, dont lose your cool with him( the dog). all the best and good luck. waidmann 105
if he can train a terrier he can give you some advice over breakfast or something, be nice, paint the fence or wash up bud all the best. get a grip of the dog as soon as you can mate( i can imagine it being very frustrating)

waidmann 105
yes mate. pason russel. your dad is a similar opinion as i said in the fist reply " beagle is a wide hunting breed". keep trying, the dog should learn. it wont be easy but take your time and keep at it. if you dont want him to bugger off keep him on the lead. atb
