Prince_Jimmy 0
Spit in your hand and let it lick the spit off. Also, wait for it to finish eating, then try handling it. Good luck. Quote Link to post

stealthy1 3,964
Feed your ferret a bit more. How old is your dog, has it ever been in contact with ferrets before? Quote Link to post

BennyS 1
I wouldnt go down the route of slapping it on the nose. You'll end up with a ferret that will be afraid of its life of you. Feed him well and then handle him. Ferret is prob nervous aswell. New huth/people etc. Getting the dog used to the ferret might take a bit more effort. Goodluck with him Quote Link to post

John-B 4
force your finger into it's mouth mate, trust me on this one, I have done it with many a viscous ferret, there's no ferret that can't be tamed, don't be hesitant when going to pick it up as any sudden movements will scare it.
