Guest Finn
Well for myself I'm just trying to keep up and have little to say (little in common). Many people may feel the same. I don't take these forums as seriously as some do. Post or not makes no difference to me, but I get the feeling you guys over there are not as free to say what you want (course language excluded) as we are here in the states. Getting an education just reading the posts here. Sobering. Maybe I should be more careful here. Just love to hunt and don't want any grief.

Guest Lori
Just don't stay in the shadows for too long bobby and you will be ok.... What if you have nothing to say!!! If any members have nothing to say they dont need to be on here..go and join a blind/deaf and dumb forum that would suit them better better.. . Millet well since I neither deaf or blind I think I will just stick around here a bit!! Edited September 6, 2006 by Lori

Born Hunter 17,798
Please don't delete me. I love it here and have learnt so much. It is just that I am not very experienced and normally don't feel I have anything to add. Im the same. I do a fair bit of shooting, read as many lurcher books as i can because im mad on them but cant get a dog yet as im of to uni soon. I just like reading the posts and learning, thats whats great about this site. Thought about asking if anyone would be kind enough to take me out with their dogs or ferreting but like i said my life is a bit busy at the moment, but i did meet a bloke at the CLA game fair who gave me his number and said he would take me out so i might just have some thing to post about in a few months time. barney 0
I feel the same as a few of the other posters:no real experience of working dogs so would feel like a bit of a fraud making comment most of the time. I do enjoy reading most of the posts and believe that I can learn a lot even tho' I'm only "lurking". Might not be a bad thing having people who are pro working dogs, even if they don't actually participate, around ..... can give me some ammunition when I try to persuade people that not everyone who works their dogs simply treats them as machines. The lurcher I have was rehomed having been picked up as a stray and I lacked the knowledge to train him to work(suspect the place I got him from would not have been best pleased had I done so).I would like at some point to have another lurcher and, hopefully, work the dog.Until then I would like to stay on the forum,I'll try to post more often but wonder how much other members would actually value any comment I make? I also find it a really friendly place. I get a real buzz from seeing posts about a dog getting its first bunny ect although a couple of people said there suspiciouse of me.Cos i dont know much. Feel free to delete my membership if me been here is incoveinent. Only wanted to learn and have a go.
