springfield 20
Nice to see more fellow Cornishman on this site Quote Link to post
rosspti 2
Thanks Dytkos. Took my girlfriend (now fiancee) up there that day. She's from Cumbria so quite close to the Pennines. We both thought it was bloody awesome! I love it up at Fernacre - even went ferreting up there a few years ago. Fred Sampson's website says they're here on the 10th October - which is a shame cause Sarah's Mum & Dad are visiting from Cumbria and the girls are off wedding dress shopping Might be able to convince her Dad to go with me tho. However if it is the 16th (as you say) then For anyone that doesn't know Cornwall, Fernacre is a remote farm up on Bodmin Moor. You can draw a circle around it with about 10,000 acres of open moorland inside, no tarmac roads, and only about half a dozen other farmhouses on the edge of the circle. There's no mains electric or water up there. Not sure about phones. It is an absolutely stunning spot. Quote Link to post
rosspti 2
Hi Springfield! Yes, theres not many of us on here. Dytkos & Langaroux are the only ones I have found so far I think. I hope I'm not annoying the rest of the forum with all my Cornish posts, but 'tis 'an'some you! Oggy Oggy Oggy Kernow Bys Vyken Quote Link to post

dytkos 17,815
Great day out mate Sorry guys, I'm Lancastrian but have loved Cornwall and the Cornish way of life for almost 20 years I've lived here. I believe Big Bulls off this site is Cornish and also young Willf1 deffo is , his family farm in St. Breward but I think he's found his dick now as he hasn't been on in months! NCH terrier show is Oct 18th and I have stood down to let one of the Penine guys judge the lurchers so they are definately here then. Thery usually come down for a week and have a day out with ECH as well as a couple of other SW packs. Cheers, D. Quote Link to post
rosspti 2
Lancastrian eh? Pretty sure I know who you are now. I haven't been out as much as I used - but usually get out with the NCH a few days over the season. I shall try to get out to Hamatethy for the Opener. Quote Link to post
