Kay 3,709
I went my usual Sunday walk today as i went to Derby yesteday to meet some friends , i love to see if the swans are about & went in my usual spot , all i saw was a lot of geese , so i walked round the lake to the opersite side , i spotted 2 pairs of swans & was curious to see the new pair I spotted the pair & the cygnets in there usuall place & another 2 smaller swans all fluffed up & looked a bit unsettled I am not sure if there a male & female pair or 2 young males but the big cob was not a happy chap , he ket the new swans at bay while i fed the mom & her babys , which are a s big as her now , lovely to see them all & i will keep an eye on how things progress in the coming weeks pics from the hours i spent up there the steam train thats runs up by the lake , the drivers smiling at me as he scared the crap out of me when he pulled the steam thing i actually said f**k me quite loud and felt a bit of a clown after just a pity i couldnt have got a slightly better pic there One of the new swans on the lake Cygnet getting bigger every day The new pair think maybe there male & female now i have looked at the pic The train coming back My favourite pic from today 3 of the swans checking each other out poor pic of a bird god knows what it is
