a few pics of foxes

here is just a few pics of some foxes shot in the last few days by me and my cousin , there is 1 in there shot at over 300 yards by myself, see if you can see which one ??? a couple shot with the 17HMR by myself and there is one shot by my cousin at 250 yards to ...

Nice shooting mate what did you use for the fourth pic down and what distance messed him up real bad.

 

 

i use a 243 remmi with a norma 58gr bullet, the distance was 337yards, i was out on bale of straw with the pod , i was real comfortable.

 

i dont normally take them at that distance , he thought he was safe at that distance , we had seen him in the same spot 3 times on previous nights out lamping and he would not come to the call.

 

so on that occasion i got onto the bale of straw and decided to take the shot , he was in a good safe position with a straw stack behind him .

spiderfly before you start ranting on ,i being to wags ground, he has a job to do ,and he does it well :notworthy: , oooooooooooo you can't use lurchers in england to kill foxes maybe thats why he shot them :icon_eek: , spiderfly think before you post !!!! ,

thanks sounder, there will be plenty for you mate when you come over.

 

spiderfly what do i need a lurcher for when i have a rifle, it does not need feeding every night and walking or cleaning shit up after it,plus i would be breaking the law if i was to use a lurcher for foxing because hunting with dogs is banned in england ..
