Ferret Flu

Recommended Posts

I had some kitts advertised in the local paper, I had them at £10 each. Some nutter rung me early this morning and said she had been a ferret breeder for ten years and people where cancelling there "Ordered" kitts because they had seen others advertised cheaper :whistling: She said I was selling them too cheap and because there was a FERRET FLU going round there would be a shortage and I should put my prices up to match hers :clapper:

Has anybody heard of a ferret flu, Because I havent, and I have no intention of matching any prices with any over priced ferret peddler....

Sounds like sour grapes to me , people will pick & choose this time of year as there hundreds about , if the daft cow is asking stupid money for them then she should drop her prices , sounds like you have got under her skin

(smokin) is correct, there is no "ferret flu", ferrets are liable to contract our colds & flu viruses, as some years ago i used to work at B'Ham university & we used ferrets to research flu vaccines as their respiratory tract is similar ti ours & reacts the same.
