Fat-Ferret 857
I had some kitts advertised in the local paper, I had them at £10 each. Some nutter rung me early this morning and said she had been a ferret breeder for ten years and people where cancelling there "Ordered" kitts because they had seen others advertised cheaper She said I was selling them too cheap and because there was a FERRET FLU going round there would be a shortage and I should put my prices up to match hers Has anybody heard of a ferret flu, Because I havent, and I have no intention of matching any prices with any over priced ferret peddler.... smokin 0
could be swine flu lol - ferts are more than capable of catching human flu so it seems - they are also being used in testing of flu vaccines for this reason. stock up on the lemsip atb chris Quote Link to post
Cold Ethyl 63
Lmao instead of tamiflu tablets it will be fertflu pills.Wonder what the cure is is rabbit soup instead of chicken soup lol.Sounds like a cracker mate wouldnt let it bother you too much.Ferrets are prone to cat flu if thats where she got mixed up but its clear to see after a while sore face scabby horrible greasy coat if your ferts are healthy happy and eating and drinking then i would say theyre fine Quote Link to post
Kaiserdog 20
(smokin) is correct, there is no "ferret flu", ferrets are liable to contract our colds & flu viruses, as some years ago i used to work at B'Ham university & we used ferrets to research flu vaccines as their respiratory tract is similar ti ours & reacts the same.
