Panna 68
I put great emphasize on sozialisation and training of my dogs and I don't have to be afraid when meeting other dogs. I can also call them back from other dogs. (And never let them go too far away from me, so that I could not controll them.) But if a dog would attack me or my dogs, would not be hesitate to kick it in the arse - and if I could not controll my dogs I would not be hurt if the other would do that to my dogs. ATB, Anna Good answer . You could have the best behaved dogs in the world but that doesnt stop another dog attacking them. And as you all know a lot of jackrussells are suicidal. You are right. But I can not close them into the house/garten in order not to be attacked. ATB, anna Quote Link to post

I'm lucky enough to be a big ugly b*****d, people don't usualy say too much when I use my stick. It's their fault not mine. Had a dog ruined once before by uncontroled dogs but never again. coldweld 65
One had a springer that would fight ! one day say a lady with two jrt's, i picked up my springer and the two little darlings started jumping up and pulling lumps of my bitch ! I took off her lead and put her down on the floor . It then became world of screams and claret , But apart from my bitch the others did not walk off the battle field one did its best to play dead the other backed under a bush ! I then had words with the lady owner and gave her my address if she wanted to take it further due to her dogs being off their leads and attacking my dog that was on a lead. i never heard a word ! By the way i still see her and the two jrt's although they are now about 12-15 years old . my bitch is long dead and i now have a Border terrier that do's not fight [well socialized]but will defend herself if attacked and a new spaniel that is soft as grease.
