runem 533 Posted August 31, 2009 Report Share Posted August 31, 2009 dos any one on here now were i can by a good blue eye for running my dogs iv seen the optronics but nothing ells any one tried that?cheers david TRY ELY BOAT CHANDELERS I THINK THEY ARE AN AMERICAN BASED COMPANY..I HAD ONE FOR OVER TEN YEARS AND THOUGHT IT WAS AN EXELLENT LAMP,THE LIGHT IS LIKE A PERFECT CIRCLE WITH NO GLARE AT THE EDGE AT ALL,I CAUGHT THOUSANDS OF RABBITS USEING ONE.I WOULD GO FOR THE 200,000CP VERSION.PS ALSO USED A RED FILTER WITH IT OCASIONALLY..CANT UNDERSTAND WHY SOMEONE HATED THEM.. Get hold of some blue sun screen that boy racers used to put along the top of the windscreen with their names on. cut a circle out and stick it in the middle of your lamp glass. Cuts down a lot of perimeter glare. you will lose some of the brightness of the beam,but experiment with the size of the blue spot until you get the right balance of light. Try Halfords or similar. If you watch a blued lamp from a distance it is less visible due to less glare are lighting up the field esp. in rain. The less you're seen the better! :search: Quote Link to post
