SNAP SHOT 194 Posted August 30, 2009 Report Share Posted August 30, 2009 there have aparently been alot of muntjac released around the wicklow areas and a few other places.... due to the nature that coilte planted the conifer forrests, they are hard to see as they are ideal to move within the confinments of these forrests... they browse on the young trees at the edge of the forrests, and seek safety inside.. they are aparently breeding at an alarming rate so they have open season for them all year round, Snap.
