stabba 10,745
HA HA. £3000, and still a piece of bone floating. Perhaps the BEST orthapedic surgeon in the country will remove it for another £2000. Just because you go to the BEST in the country(which is debatable) doesnt mean you are going to get the best treatment mate. Neither does bragging about it while other people are in dire straits win you any points on here. Infact it just shows what a cock you really are. Quote Link to post

chimp 299
lol after all the 'f**k the rspca' and 'you cant trust em' i cant believe people would actually take a working dog to them and run the risk of having the dog taken of em. using plastic to repair the dog !!! ffs get down the bluecross , or just ask your vet to pay by installments . time you have paid the plastic off the dog will be long gone dead and would of cost you 10k lol i dont know why moo is getting such a hard time ? he took his dog to who he thinks is the best and got the dog fixed up to the standard he paid for , as for bone floating about , my mate bust his back and shoulder in a bike accident and still has bone floating . maybe he should of seen one of the thl wonder vets who could take it out for him for a tenner. back on track . f**k the rspca off Quote Link to post
CorkyJohn 808
The damage could run into thousands, no matter what 'rate' the vet is offering you, most of them are robbing b*****ds. Can't believe anyone would take a working dog to the RSPCA. I'd have sooner had the dog PTS & start again when I found out the dog's leg was broken, yes it may heal well enough but it may not & be money down the pan Quote Link to post
Guest little lurcher
brill news on the credit card , but try tail waggers , pdsa, blue cross and the arsepca for a donation towards the cost , dont tell them you have the card but get the dog to vets asap and pay 1st installment by card then ring round getting some idea of the donation they will give good luck , im still paying off £3500 bill for my bitch loosing her leg so know how hard it is on you Quote Link to post

Get thedog to a reputable vet straight away. If your skint then borrow the money. It will be worth it in the end. atb stabba Totally agree pal! Just use a normal vet. F u k them. They are money grabbing F U C K E RS But thats only the government to blame! ATB with the break on ur dogs leg! FM Quote Link to post

At least the dog would be treated as I imagine it is in a lot of pain unless he has provided it with rhymadol or something similar but thats not going to fix a broken leg ......All this macho pish your spewing out about fuk the rspca ....I agree with you about them being corrupt and I wouldnt go near them but it sounds to me as if the lads doesnt have much choice and at the end of the day its the dogs welfare that comes first so what advice do you give him ?? stabba 10,745
Ideally my advice would be to take the dog to the best orthapedic vetinary surgeon in the country. But failing that id have a word with his vet and come to some arrangment. Failing that id beg, steal and borrow to make sure my dog got the best treatment it needed. The RSPCA are a law unto themselves and have no sympathy towards working dog injuries. Thankfully the lad is now sorted so has no need to go to the unscrupolous charity. I find it very hard to swallow that a person of your intelligence and animosity toward the RSPCA should then proceed to tell the lad to seek their help, knowing full well that there are many avenues to go down before even contemplating such a suggestion. I dont have much but id be willing to make a small donation towards any fees this lad has to meet. atb stabba Quote Link to post
jac 12
SHG they are the people who regularly hear from people who have run in to trouble with the RSPCA. If he emails them it would be helpful to get in touch with the SHG. I suspect the RSPCA will pester him to get the dog neutered so he might as well be prepared. contact these people. press-office@the-shg.org SEE LINK http://the-shg.org/SHGPressReleases.htm Edited August 30, 2009 by jac Quote Link to post
