anabolic lion 0
I have just got a 8week old presa canario pup. Iknow i can get tripe from pet shops but the butchers have told me they can order in fresh tripe for me. Does anyone get there's from the butchers here? Is it any different from the pet shops? Lerk 0
You'll probably find the butcher will get you tripe for human consumption - that is thoroughly washed and bleached to make it less repugnant! Whether or not it will harm your dog (i doubt it) i can't say for sure, but 'normal' dog tripe is green tripe - basically given a quick rinse and is therefore cheaper... I get mine from an animal food warehouse @ 27p per lb
