I wouldnt know, since i dont live in Scotland. If there are any they are not legal, and im sure Chester would not want an illegal dog as even a pit cross would be covered by the dangerous dogs act, and he certainly would'nt advertise it on a public forum! As Chilli rightly said, there shouldnt be any in the Uk, Scotland & Wales. MOLL. Quote Link to post

Guest ADAM AND HIS DOGS
the pit bull is not recognised by the kennel club so how could anyone identify it is officially a mongrel with a broad description that could be any heavy terrier crossed with a larger dog. say for example a boxer with a staff or a lab with an english. the pit bull never really existed in offical terms. read the dda its about as clear as mud. this old pit bull thing is flogged to death wher i am from as it gets great media attention for fuckpot and his crew. yet when they visited and looked at a greyhound i seen myself that was almost starved they done nothing. pit bulls unicorns alla myth driven by spca propaganda throught the media. Guest oldskool
u are spot on, but if some wanker reports you for havin a pitbull then when they come to inspect the so-called pitbull they dont have to prove that it is a pitbull, infact it is the owner that will have to prove it is not a pitbull. and that is when things get tricky!! the same goes for lads that put a terrier down a hole, if the lad is reported and taken to court it is him who has to prove that he had entered a terrier to a den and not a sette. when you are dealing with ignorance then this becomes a damn near impossible thing to do.
