Guest Dave
I managed to square 32 squirels away last shooting season dont think thats going to cut it with the keepers who are traping and shooting all day every day. How many squirels does every one else kill each year? My little lurcher loves ragging them, the first thing she ever caught as a pup was Squirel and it gave her a bit of punishment around the chops so I think she has a vendeta against them. Brummy 9
The guy who's talking about trapping the squirells is having a laugh isn't he. I've released many squirells from cage traps into bags to despatch them and one thing is for sure ........... I WOULDN'T put my hand in to wring their necks !!! He must be bloody mad !!! I find that a lump of 4x2 or similar is far preferable :aikido: Quote Link to post
Kane 2
Went on a a couple of squirrel shooting days as a boy, there were 2 teams each with drey poking poles shotguns and an assortment of dogs betwen the 2 teams over 400 squirrels were shot. The most exciting bit was when a squirrel or 2 would panic and bolt down the tree and along the woodland floor. Then the assortment of dogs would catch and kill these.Good fun.
