BEDDIEXWHIPPET

Recommended Posts

My bitch is 18.5 tts,she is very quick, has great stamina, can turn like she's on rails, but on uneven ground at night she struggles, and thats because she can't see the quarry.

Put two marks on a stick, one at 19 inches and another at 24-25.Crouch down and place your eyes next to the first mark and then the second, you'd be amazed at the difference.

i no what u mean cos mine is 19tts and she struggles but shes like shxt off a shovel pal proper fast atb gm

Head strong, hunting up,yappie and their coats f*****g stink when they get wet :whistling:

Having said that mine will lamp all night, ive seen her leap tremendous heights, even do somersaults to catch a rabbit. Runs all night then still wants to go some more at the end of the night, heart like the biggest lion you ever saw, brilliant at protecting me from horses that get too close.

Once got bowled over by a horse and the little bitch went mental with it. She has been a right twat at times hunting up,but has also got remarkably better as she has got older.

I love her and i hate her

My bitch i've had from 7 weeks of age, she's never been mistreated and has had the best of everything, yet she is a bag of nerves around strangers and other dogs.Put a collar and slip on her and she is a different animal altogether.

Some dogs are like that,my blue dog is a bit like that cos he got bit by another lurcher,so around other dogs he can be a bit skittish until he gets to trust them.

I always find if you get down on your hunkers so you are at the same level as the dog they seem less nervous of you?

Dont let me put you off but if its your first lurcher an hybred of say beddy/grey/collie/grey might be a bit easier for your first dog. This mix was my first lurcher and i dread to think if the pup i have now had been my first running dog .atvb dell
