paddy31 120
Well lads should we name and shame any of these dog thieves if we find out who they are? Kevin m put up a post naming a man how has a stolen dog that he knows is stolen and then when he asked why it was deleted he was told it was slander as far as I know its only slander if its not the truth and in this case it is.Kevin had a bit of a go at the mod then which was under standable as he is sick to the teeth of all these dogs been robbed and the mod just deleted him from the site.I thought this was a free speech site where you could air you thoughts and not be deleted for doing so.Whats your thoughts on this thats if its left up long enough for people to read. border lad 1,047
Paddy I agree with you, the thieving scum should be named, this is a hunting forum, and I would think at least 90% or more have dogs that they are proud of, and would guard them with there life, name and shame the SCUMBAGS,
deputydog 68
totally agree the theiving b**tards should be named and even pictures posted if you have any
Guest lurchers&terriers
another good un deleted most mods are ok but there's always one that cant handle being wrong. i think they should be named 100% and like you said how is it slander? something needs to be done and naming them is a start i suppose. banning people for that and not allowing them to be named is just protecting them

squint 17
Don't condone thieving never have done.Especially personal property But if your naming and shaming aren't you classed as a "GRASS" or does it not count when your the victim?..... Not saying you or anyone else is a "GRASS" just that the word gets banded around on here willy nilly for example when someone is trying to protect there permission etc,etc Would like to see what is acceptable for "GRASSING" and what is not I think i've put my question as diplomatically as i can,as i'm very interested in the outcome of the question. Obviously i expect to receive the usual "r u a grass" "r u a ANTI" I can assure you i'm neither and there's a few lads who can vouch for me off here Thanks for reading my post. And may the force be with :piggy:
Guest lurchers&terriers
i dont think its grassing one little bit. naming them is just a way to help prevent thefts by these people, who said anything about grassing them to the police?

And may the force be with :piggy: I wouldn't class myself as a grass but enough is enough there are plenty of decent lads and dog men out there that put alot of time into there dogs most of them have a line going and when you loose that line its very hard to get it back if not imposable there is a big diferance in going out and robbing a t.v at least you can buy another one its not that easy with dogs now that tere is more show types around than workers............ fin and fur 2
It would be a good idea to post info on people who have actually been convicted of Dog theft, but its just asking for all manner of slanderous accusations if you are posting the names of people whom you know are guilty of dog theft but have no proof in law
Guest MADRA DUBH
People who steal dogs are scum and those that buy dogs from those people are worse , in my opinion people should have the right to know who these people are .
Malt 379
People need to start learning what the term 'Grass' means, I always thought it was to tell tales on one of your own. People get called it for all sorts on here. As far as I know, most of the decent dog people on this site wouldn't class a dog thief as one of their own, so how could a person be a grass for naming & shaming? squint 17
i dont think its grassing one little bit. naming them is just a way to help prevent thefts by these people, who said anything about grassing them to the police? Whether your "grassing to the police or "grassing to another member on here you are technically "grassing"(and I agree with naming and shaming...so technically i'm a "GRASS" ).I don't like to hear of dog thefts as the dog is part of the family(well the majority of dogs), my point is grassing is grassing just as theft is theft(i have had this duscussion on here before)whether you have worked hard to buy your TV or worked bloody hard to bring on your own line, each item will have sentimental value to the individual person. Cheers for the sensible replies paddy and lurchers
poacher3161 1,766
If concrete evidence can be provided YES they have got to be named and shamed. The antis are fast enough to do it even [bANNED TEXT] theirs no convictions been secured.atb dell
