Guest Rod&dog
I walk mine everyday,, feed it a good meal and maybe a bit of running alongside the motor at a slow speed or along the bike,, sometimes even run with them. I think decent good food is importand also. Quote Link to post
earthpig 0
I walk mine a few miles on road every day and i let the pair have a few good bursts in open ground theirs nothing lke running to get them fit and two lurchers together have some great bursts of speed that keeps them trim out of season then from here on just work thats what makes a lurcher it best Quote Link to post
Guest Rod&dog
oh and almost forgot,, getting your dog out on the lamp chasing rabbits is great for getting a dog fit. And i thought taking it ferreting early season and stuff will motivate it from a summer of not much work. Quote Link to post
