Let me know how u go.. if not i know a lad who has really well bred pups thats ready in 4 weeks n these wont be advertised, im gettin 1 myself.. i was just talking to him.he said the mothers great on foxes and that the father which he doesnt own is a full bred hound and was only used for racing.someone said that their hard to train what do you think I wouldnt be too mad on the breeding of grey as sire myself also that lad sexton from clare has a few dogs for sale aswell. i think i will skip this pup and learn a bit more and see more pups first You could well be better off . Steve McHardy 2
get out with people who already have dogs and youll soon be offered pups!!youll also get more of an idea what x you may like. are you going after rabbits or just foxs?? mainly foxes there arent any rabbits around where i live in connemara im on my second generation of my own so only had a few other lurchers but i think ive gor what i want now his dam was beardiexgrey/borderxgrey and his sire was 3/4grey 1/4 apb brains and bottle hes 24tts and would do all but limited to bunnies here in scotland. bit o collie gives brain and trainabiltiy. ive also got a wheaton x pup so we will see how she goes. for a first dog i would go for somthing which wont be too hard to train mate and patience is a vritue especially with lurchers. good advice from all the boys. all the best mate would love to live where i was free to hunt fox.
