I am wanting to get a gun and am a total novice. Can anyone on here advise as to what is the best gun to start with? Will be for rabbits, pigeon and rat shooting. Was told a airgun would be best?

Ermm... the lower the better really, lol. Haven't got much to spend at the moment.

Get a cheap cometa or secondhand hw, bsa spring gun to start off with and when you get used to it and save some money up trade it in for a better gun mate

The Wanted Ad is probably the best bet, but I suspect that most people on here will have decent old springers hidden away and would rather keep them than sell them for £100 (which is a reasonable price for a second hand springer)
