hello everyone!!!

 

went out for a mooch as usual today, the dogs had a good few runs and i came home smilling and a tad out of breath!

noticed while i was out that there was cloud cover, a good breeze, and some rain must confess am tempted that if it stays like this later i'll go for a shine later on,

on saturday i'm meeting up with local foxhounds for the first time this season

tis nice to know that we're just at the very start of season, the skip is back in me step, feeling happier in myself after what has felt like a very long and HOT summer

 

just wondered what everyone else has planned in the coming weeks

i hope to do abit of ferreting

 

get out with my mates for hares and maybe a few pheasents

 

 

get my pup walking to heel nicely sitting and retrieving

 

and at the end of the season maybe put her on an easy rabbit atb

ill be trying a few snares out and gettin my dog into her top fitness as she's in season at the min, i put 2 snares out last night and had a bunny in one this morning so i cant be all that bad lol

sounds like i'm not the only one to be pleased over the change of weather!! haven't left for lamping yet i like to do it late, also saves me letting the pups out last thing if we've just come back from a ramble

lurcherlad ye should get out with the hounds this season especially now the police wont be tailing us . .

wild and irish, nice!! looks like you'll have a good worker on your hands!!

enjoy the ferreting RT wont be long til i'm doing a spot of bunny bashing with help from the stinkies
