A mate of mine has 2 working bedlingtons one has tan markings on its leggs as any one else come across this??? atb dell

blue /tan is a proper colour as for the other stuff it happens all the time mines beter than yours

some people dont have permision to work fox and all they can work is rats rabbits why should they not breed from them

Some people are lucky as they have a chance to work fox legaly, they have my envy. Many others however do not. So why put them down for sticking to the stupid pathetic law

I'm not putting them down, It's good to see a few Beddies on the rabbits , rats etc.

But all dogs chase rabbits and rats.

This breed needs only the gamest dogs to proginate the future TRUE Bedlingtons.

Not all dogs mate and i agree about time the beddys came back in. You have my number if you want to ring for a chat any time. I dont mean an arsie chat i mean a chat about beddys you may be able to advise me on this pup i am getting

mate what to add, if d be in sport and breeding y would find the way how to tes the dog witout breaking the law, if y wanna chance take your dogs come down here to slovakia and i ll take y out to test on fox, we can drive to Austria to work badgers and i ll give y chance to test dogs in artificial den.

 

terrier terra earth, my westie is great bushing dog she even kill rats, wild living cats but she isn t able to work fox down in earth, i saw many beddies who were great bushing dogs, kill rats but y never get them down to earth they were scared of wild boars but would cansider them as WORKIN ONES because they do rats and rabbits. y probably never seen a true working beddy.

 

my advice get in touch with lads with permisions and test y dogs i m sure they give y a chance

david 2363 you said the true bedlington where in history does it say the true bedlington was only an earth dog !!!!

from what ive read they were a good all rounder for mooching killing all vermin but please tell use where your info about the TRUE BEDLINGTON

I always got the impression one of the reasons the bedlington died out as a prime earth dog was due to its muteness wich i thought would have been a big handicapp in the days before locators.But i beileive this muteness made it the ideal terrier to produce lurchers in the first place.Before anybody slates me its only my opinion.atb dell

Im scared of wild boar and i work does that make me a bad worker???? Also i am happy with what the dog does, like ive said before there is no way in the world will i discuss what my mates beddy works on an open forum. Thats just mad. All you need to no is she bushes well
